
Many people want to know how to produce a Spanish character on an English based version of Windows. Here are some simple instructions:
To write an ñ press and hold the ALT key. While holding down the ALT key, enter the 3-digit decimal code for the extended ASCII character you want to generate (in this case 164) then release the ALT key. You should be able to do this in almost any program.

Check out this site to type your message using Spanish characters. All you have to do is hold down the Ctrl key while you type an "a," for instance, to get an "a" with an accent on top of it. Then you can cut and paste the message from the site to a Word document or wherever.
