At the March 22 meeting, I suggested donation cans asking for American and Canadian change. It seemed to be an idea that was well received, so, now that the flyers are at the printer, I decided to try out the idea.
My print shop was in the process of making donation cans for the the Rotary Club and donated one of the empty, sealed, slotted cans to me. I've made up a wrap-around label for it and placed it in my business. Unfortunately, the heavy tourist season is about over, but we'll see how it goes for the next few months.
You can see the label I made under the Flyers section in the main table of contents. It's named, Amigos de los Animales needs your HELPx1.doc. Please let me know what you think.

I like your text, I did this one a while ago:
my idea was to have the dog cut out of a piece of wood, and attached to a collection box. The printing could be done by fullcolor, (next door to When Pigs Fly) as is quite inexpensive. It would be very eye-catching, amusing, and might encourage people to part with some pesos. The full sized image is attached here, over 1MB. Just a thought!
