Amigos de Los Animales Board Meeting April 9th/2005
Attending: Jo Ann Scott, Cindi Van Buskirk, Sally Ross, Rafael Aguilar, Nadine Laxen, Valerie Moreau, and guest Mina Aguilar.

- Old Business
- E-mail addresses will be available for the General Meeting.
- New Business
- Term of office for board members will be 2 years. This board's term will finish October 2007. 1st-Nadine, 2nd Sally, approved
- General membership is invited to attend Board Meetings with prior notification to any Board member. 1st-Valerie, 2nd Cindi. approved
- Election of Committee Members to be the following:
- Public Relations
- Fund Raising
- Shelter Liasion
- News Letter
- Volunteer Co-Ordinator
- Danielle to receive a 500 peso per month raise, with the other 2 shelter employees to receive a 100 peso per month raise each. A donation box to be installed in the Shelter, with all proceeds going to the Shelter. 1st-Sally, 2nd-Cindi. approved
- 3000 pesos to be allocated to finish and repair cages. 1st-Nadine, 2nd-Sally. approved
- Upgrading the roof shelter with Styrofoam not a possibility according to a workman, only solution is a new roof with a cost of 30,000-40,000 pesos. Rafael and Sally to get a 2nd opinion and report to next Board Meeting with a quote and possible alternatives.
