I had an apointment through Mazatlan homes to see a condo that a condo at Calle Louis Bonila & Olas Atlas that that I had previously seen on the MOP's site. The broker there looked it up on their computer, made the arangments for me to see it the following day. You nor any one from your agency showed up and after waiting a while my broker's sails person called your office and was told to look for a key under eather some floor mat or that it might be in a wall cabinet. Which we never found. At my insistance my broker made arangments for another day. Then before we arrived for the second appointment and I assume, because I do not understand Spanish, you called the sales person informing her that you will not make the appointment but a key would be there again under a door mat or in a wall cabinet. Wonderfull we found the key under a mat. BUT.................. Who are you trying to kid.!! It was not the same unit that you had on your web site in ether Photographs or Discriptions. That is called "Bait and Switch" were I am from and is concidered illegle. Your web site also had two prices cuoted and still another was quoted over the phone to the sales agent. To say the least, I was very dissapointed. And can not see any reason why another broker in Mazatlan would ever want to work with you. And since this experiance I have heared other people with stories to tell. A least now I know the truth from my experiance. Don Till

----- Original Message ----- From: Lupita Bernal To: jeff mcthorn Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2006 7:30 PM Subject: fw: House Lomas de Mazatlan Hello Jeff, I hope this finds you well. I am writting to you this email regarding the comment I just read at maztravel-mops. I think there has been a confusion and I am really sorry that this had caused you a bad impression about my services as a Real Estate Agent. I will like to explain to you some important points. I got a call from Century XXI to show a house that I have listed in Lomas de Mazatlan. I showed the house to your wife through the Real Estate Agent from Century XXI. Your wife wanted to send you some pictures of the house and I asked authorization from the Real Estate Agent from Century XXI in order to send the pictures to you. Your wife Araceli made an offer through XXI which was not accepted by my client. Later on, I sent an email to you (which I attached) that states that unfortunately the offer was not accepted. I never dealt directly with Aracely because she was the client of Century XXI. I never treated you wife in a bad way and never inferred that she could not afford the home she was looking for. I am truly sorry about this situation, and as I stated in the email I attached, I hope I can help you in the future. Sincerely, Lupita Bernal.

We came into town for a quick visit to find a rental property for full - time residency. We had made a 10:30 appointment with Lupita to see a property and she never showed up at our hotel. Also we had rearranged our cramped schedule for that morning to meet with her and missed out on other 2 other realtors. When we followed up with her, she said she had another appointment. No call or apology from her. Poor customer service.

My wife told me how you treated her, and how you inferred that she could not afford the home she was looking at. You made a grave mistake with that assumption, as we are both California Real Estate Agents, and can easily afford whatever we wish to purchase in Mazatlan. Your poor service and bad treatment of my wife made us decide not to pursue our offer, I hope that your owner knows that your unprofessional standards runied the deal. I will be sure to tell all my American friends that are looking to purchase in Mazatlan to find someone who does not assume that a prospective buyer cannot afford the home they are looking for. Do you think that I sent my wife to Mazatlan to look at houses for 250,000.00 dollars for fun? We are serious buyers, and will be returning to Mazatlan soon to purchase our vacation home. We will NOT look at any houses that you are listing- not that you have that many, and I know why, if you treat your clients the way you treated us. Jeff & Araceli
