This list is to help Board Members and Amigos members to keep track of things that are supposed to happen at the shelter. Here are the rules:

  1. Someone adds an item to the todo list below
  2. After the item has been completed, Edgar or Board Member strikes thru the item, but does not remove it.
  3. After an Amigos member has verified that the item has been completed, he/she deletes the item from the list

Shelter To Do List

Below are the items that Alison Cunningham brought up in her July 6, 2006 email to the group. I have gone ahead and assigned people to the tasks. If you wish to add your name to help in any of the tasks, please do so.

  • -Tile in dog cage *Jo Ann Scott/-

  • Supplies for printer and forms *Unassigned/
  • -Cable dog run *Edgar & Sandy-/-
  • PC & Shelter software *HenryLaxen/ will do this in October when we return to Mazatlan

  • Metal Ring in dog washing area Edgar & Dr. Juan
  • -Adequate fans for dog area- Jo Ann Scott
  • -6 Ceiling fans in the dog area- generously donated by Linda Ramirez.- Office wall fan.
  • -Dog collars *Unassigned/ The best price Nadine has managed to get for this is one dollar per collar. If anyone finds collars at a better price, please buy them. Henry Laxen thinks we should budget about 20x12 = 240 dollars a year for collars-
  • -Leashes *Unassigned/ The best price Nadine has managed to get for this is one dollar fifty per leash. Henry Laxen thinks we should budget about 20x12x1.5 = 360 dollars a year for leashes.-
  • -Volunteers- At the moment there are many Mexican Volunteers at Shelter.-
  • -Dr. Juan has list of Mexican Volunteers who are coming to the Shelter.-
  • -Closet for Apartment *Unassigned/ Nadine Laxen suggests that as an interim measure we buy a plastic rolling set of drawers from Sams. Her recollection is that it costs about 400 pesos. Henry Laxen agrees, and thinks we should build a closet for the upstairs apartment, where ever Dr. Juan wants one. He could then use the rolling drawers downstairs when the closet is completed. Henry Laxen suggests a budget of 3000 pesos for this project.-
