While we lived in Mazatlan, we along with our friends Wilson and Mary Ellen Godfrey started an animal shelter there. One evening during a board meeting, a guy named Mitchel Ledis show up with this tiny little kitten. This was after we had lost Tippy, but Miss Parker was still going strong. We decided to take him home and we named him Jarod, after the other protaganist in the TV series The Pretender. Now that Miss Parker is gone, Jarod can relax, which he enjoys doing pretty much twenty hours per day.

Quote of the day:
After twelve years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes. He said, "No hablo ingles."
