We have lived in three different houses in Mazatlan. One of them was on the beach, which we liked for a while, but eventually got tired of the salt and the sand. So we moved back to this house, which was the second one we built down here. If you'd like to take a peek inside, please continue.

The outside of the Marina Cottage, as you drive up. Here a panorama that I stitched together with the gimp. It's our little home away from home. We live the exterior design, kinda like a little castle. The grounds are landscaped with lush grass and fruit trees. We'll never have to buy limes again. A complete floor plan. This is the thumbnail version. Click to see the full sized version. It is our little winter home, with 4 bedrooms, 5 and a half baths, an office, a game room, and maids quarters upstairs. Here is the original floor plan. It is still basically the same, except we combined the exercise room with the bedroom next door to make a large master suite. . Our friend and architect, Chago, built this house for us. This was truly our dream house, and anything we could think of to include, we included. We always admired the high ceilings of the old houses we visited downtown. So Chago asked me, "How high should I make the ceilings?" I replied, "Well, go as high as you think is reasonable, and then go another meter." We were so pleased with his design, and his construction, that we had this plaque made and installed at the front of the house, as a tribute to our good friend.`

Please come inside and have a look around.

Quote of the day:
Dogs need to sniff the ground; it's how they keep abreast of current events. The ground is a giant dog newspaper, containing all kinds of late-breaking dog news items, which, if they are especially urgent, are often continued in the next yard.
