Welcome Amigo
A typical Mazatlan beauty. This town is full of them. Are you looking for information about Mazatlan? Don't worry, you are in the right place. In early 2010 I reorganized this www site in order to make more flexible and useful. All of the old information is still here, but now you may add comments to each page, and many other new features. We don't live in Mazatlan anymore, but with your input, we are still planning on keeping this site up to date. We reserve the right to incorporate your comments into the main body of the pages that follow.

You can still contribute wiki content if you wish. Many others have already done so.

A lamda combined with a monad bind operator, just the thing to make your brain hurt. My most recent interest is the haskell programming language. I've been programming since 1975, and thought I had seen it all (even forth), but this language is really giving my brain a workout. As I learn things I try to explain them, so if you are interested you can find my exceedingly mundane insights here.

A camel, the perl logo courtesy of O'Reilly In the old days, I used to do a lot of perl programming. I still use perl to do little things, but not as much as I used to. The few goodies I've contributed to the perl community can be found here.

My sweet baboo and I, as happy as we can be. Finally, I wrote some articles for the local newspaper that tries to explain the way the world works. I'm planning on writing some more, but the old ones can be found here. The topics range from why the sky is blue to the truth about the green flash at sunset. If you are interested in that kind of stuff, enjoy!
